Artist Statement

People are always the main focus of my work. I love to study people and see how they react in different situations.

The work I have listed is based on my current project 'Glamour'. It is focussing on how make-up and fashion effects your personality, and how it has an instant confindence boost. I find it really interesting that we will make ourselves up when we go out for the people that we don't know, and will strip down in front of our close and loved ones. Make-up creates a fantastic alter ego, a mask which you can only hide behind for so long.
