I am a student currently studying a Graphic Design BA ((hons) at Southampton Institute after completing a Foundation in Art and Design at Kingston University. Graphic design to me is exciting and stimulating. The challenges it provides me with are beneficial in enhancing my graphic design understanding and visual awareness. Throughout my work I apply a variety of different techniques, along with a combination of different mediums and design programmes. I am always on the look out for inspiration and forming new ideas and styles. Stefan Sagmeister once said that the ability to translate ideas into action along with knowledge and imagination is what graphic design is all about, and I believe what he says is so true, I do all I can to gain inspiration from everywhere and once I’m inspired the ideas form themselves and I expand on them to hopefully produce interesting pieces of work with inner meaning.
