Artist statement: I am heavily influenced by artists such as Robert Rauschenberg, Cy Twombly and Robert Motherwell. I constantly use found imagery in my work, which I juxtapose with contrasting marks, as i feel the marks give an image a certain innocence. I feel I am able to combine life and art by using found imagery and abstract compositions. |
