Artist Statement

I do not like to write too much about my artwork preferring instead that the viewer  come to his or her own conclusions.

It is important for me that all my work has a strong visual impact. I believe in arts power to convey meaning but I am primarily concerned with its ability to create a sensory experience in the viewer

I take inspiration from a range of sources including technology, biology, graffiti, science-fiction, electronic music, Japanese anime/manga, contemporary architecture, video games and graphic design.

I work both with computers and with more traditional forms such as painting, drawing and collage, often combining then to create my intended image. The results can be seen as abstract collisions of digital and organic forms. An ambiguous and fluctuating visual language to describe our hyper-modern world
