"The Misanthrope"

Set in the excessive world of modern A-list actors, critics and gossip writers, this adaptation has been hailed as "a savagely funny modern update" of Molière's classic tale. Even if you have seen “The Misanthrope” before, you will be in for a surprise.

And next Thursday to Saturday (20-22 November) is "Turcaret" By Alain-René Lesage-Translated by John Norman A sharp cynical comedy of fraud, theft and sexual corruption.

"an unjustly neglected foreign classic" - THE SUNDAY TELEGRAPH
"... a real discover. The play is sharp and brisk..." THE SUNDAY TIMES
