in Chris Burn's ensemble, and as a duo, recorded Angels on EMANEM, released
in 2000.
One of the central figures in Europe's avant-garde music scene - San Francisco
Bay Guardian
If Butcher's approach to the saxophone is a bit idiosyncratic, then Davies'
approach to the harp is downright revolutionary - Nils Jacobson
The Cinematic Orchestra's Tom Chant will also appear with group formed
out of several meetings between the various musicians in Tokyo last year,
although this will be the first performance in this combination. He is
joined by Seymour Wright and John Lely, who appeared at Ongaku last November,
and Tom Perchard on trumpet. We also welcome Polish/Japanese duo Noise
Flamenco, celebrating their recent debut release London Boys on TwoThousandAnd.
