James Dean - The Iconic Images of Phil Stern - Sony Ericsson Proud Central 29th April - 24th June

To celebrate the 50th anniversary since the tragic death of legendary icon James Dean, Sony Ericsson Proud Central are thrilled to announce a unique exhibition of rare and unseen images of the rebel hero, by photojournalist Phil Stern - the leading photographer of the Hollywood golden era.

These highly unusual images will present Dean is a completely new light in comparison to the moody youth that we so associate him with being.

It will also include a body of works that were originally donated to Dean as a gift, and which have remained unseen for over 40 years.

The exhibition will coincide with a string of events occurring throughout the UK to mark the anniversary, including a special screening of a James Dean documentary at the NFT (just minutes walk from the gallery), the release of the Warners Home Video DVD box set, and the launch of the first official biography of James Dean.
