Whilst art critics and galleries are both relevant to an artists work, in the end it is what the public thinks that matters. Lucy Cookson is an artist admired by galleries, critics and the public.

The Affordable Art Fair has become a major force in the London Art Market and their idea of an art prize voted for by visitors to the fair captured the public imagination from its very beginning in 2002. LUCY COOKSON was the first winner of this important prize, and she has since won an art prize at the Chichester Open Art Exhibition 2004. Popular on both sides of the Atlantic she makes her London debut at Hicks Gallery this coming February, and will show exclusively with us at the Affordable Art Fair next March.

Exhibition runs from the 6th – 20th February 2005 with private views on Sunday 6th 12 noon to 5 pm and Thursday 10th February 7 - 9 pm.
