Savvy to the demands of the market, suspicious of curatainment, and demanding
of the viewer, the arts graduate of 2003/2004 is a complex purveyor of
the contemporary globe. Striving to avoid 'Third Way' artwork, and survive
in the Goldilocks economy, they relish the battle from the margins. The
21st century cultural activist writes, draws, makes music, paints, sculpts,
performs, prints, intervenes, shoots, installs, and the best of them still
come from around the world to study art and design at the Royal College
of Art.
