Forthcoming exhibitions at the Royal Academy of Arts which includes exhibitions by students of the Royal Academy Schools.

12–23 February 2003

The Premiums exhibition showcases some of the best contemporary work being produced by young artists today. Highlighting the diverse work produced by second year students at the Royal Academy Schools, the exhibition provides an opportunity to view painting, sculpture and photography, by developing, aspiring artists mid-way through their studies.

The RA Schools offer students the opportunity to develop their ideas and working practices on a unique three-year postgraduate course. Attracting students from across the UK and Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas, the RA Schools has established an international reputation, and is renowned for its creativity and originality. With a total of 60 places available, the Schools offer students a wide range of benefits including access to tutorials and lectures given by leading figures in the art world, and links with a wide range of contemporary artists, including Royal Academicians.

Premiums offers an insight into the contemporary art scene of tomorrow, and provides an invaluable opportunity to view and buy work by some of the most talented art students in the country.

Premiums will be sponsored in 2003 by Walker Morris, one of the leading law firms in the country, as part of a one-year sponsorship of the Schools annual exhibitions. Walker Morris will also sponsor the Schools Show, a final year show by students who have completed the three-year postgraduate degree.

The exhibition is open daily from 10am – 6pm and until 10pm on Friday. Admission is free.
