Honey Traps
Carolyn Castaño, Brian Dawn Chalkley, Dustin Ericksen

27th June – 2nd August 2003

Baroque drawings of Peacocks and of The Beatles by Carolyn Castaño, spectral drawings of interiors and of dresses by Brian Dawn Chalkley, and planar structures of coloured glass and perspex by Dustin Ericksen, will be exhibited together. These superficially decorative works, through very different means, recall the anxieties and ambivalences that weave through seduction and desire.

Carolyn Castaño lives in L.A. where in 2001 she graduated from U.C.L.A. and this year was included in the exhibition, International Paper at the Hammer Museum. Brian Dawn Chalkley lives in London where he has performed and exhibited widely. Dustin Ericksen moved in 2001 from L.A. to London. His last solo show was last year at Feature Inc, New York.

38 Langham Street is open from Thursday to Saturday, 12–6pm, or by appointment. For further information please contact Alex Sainsbury or Will Hunt at the gallery.
