About the event

'Somewheretogo' is an ambitious large scale group art exhibition that brings together a selected group of 19 talented young and recently graduated UK based artists.

The 'somewheretogo' event is to be held in a former classroom block of the Trinity Technology College in Warwick, due for demolition in early March this year. The show will extend over two floors in 31 individual spaces.

The imminent demolition of the building has given rise to a truly unique opportunity for the selected artists to create some really ambitious work that would otherwise not be possible. 'Somewheretogo'
is being publicised nationwide and is set to become Warwick and Leamington's biggest ever art exhibition of its kind. Expect to find exciting new forms of mixed media work within the 'somewheretogo'
exhibition.

'Somewheretogo' is being curated and organised by a former pupil of the school, Tristan Hessing, and his professional partner Candice Jacobs from Stratford upon Avon. Both have attended The Warwickshire College and studied Fine Art at The Nottingham Trent University graduating in 2004. Among the selected artists exhibiting in the show are several former pupils of the Trinity Technology College and also artists from the local area. Jacobs and Hessing along with 12 of the exhibting artists are currently members of Stand Assembly, a major new artists studio complex in Nottingham. www.standassembly.org
