Summer holidays at the National Gallery

Shake up your summer with four weeks of 'Move it!' fun at the National
Gallery. Throughout August, there is a variety of FREE hands-on art workshops,
events and activities for families with children of all ages. Each week
the workshops explore different themes taking inspiration from all around
the Gallery.
Magic Carpet
Storytelling
Tuesday-Friday every week throughout August. For under 5s. 11.30am. FREE
Climb aboard the magic carpet and fly away for a half hour adventure.
Sessions are free and explore a different painting each day. Children
must be accompanied at all times.
Shake it!
3 - 7 August. 11am and 2pm (except 7 August 11am only). Ages 5 - 11. FREE
Saint Francis is shaking hands with a wolf! What will be the next twist
in the tale? You decide in this printmaking workshop with artist Thomas
Gosebruch. 7 August. 2pm. Ages 12 -16. FREE You decide. A pact between
man and wolf sealed with a handshake. But will the wolf stick to his word?
