Tangible Art

Tangible Art are looking for artists to participate in the second Under £500 Art Fair, 12 to 14 September 2003, Portland Place, London W1.

The aim of Tangible Art is 'to make art buying accessible to a new audience, offering carefully selected original and innovative work from the best new artists in a way that is affordable to both the artist and buyer'. The first event was a major success which attracted over 1,000 visitors and sold £26,000 worth of artwork.

The venue, a Georgian townhouse situated in Portland Place W1, provides a magnificent space in which to
display work. Last year the artists and the event gained much positive press exposure through both national and local publications and websites.

This is a great opportunity to participate in an event which has an individuality and flair of its own and which is unique to the commercial London art scene. It is a chance to sell work, gain exposure to a diverse audience and exhibit alongside some of the best artists working today, both nationally and internationally. We are searching for painting, photography, drawing and limited edition prints from a selection of up to 80 artists which will be on sale at no more than £500 per work. Our policy of keeping artist's costs to a minimum is a key factor of Tangible Arts' aim. Exclusivity is not derived from a high fee to enter the event but through the high standard of work needed.
