Statement:
Being interested in the value of objects and elements which change a person's
perception of value, my latest project deals with waste transformation.
Taking into consideration some of the most traditional and elementary
aesthetic codes of value, the accessories shown are made using post consumer
plastic waste such as fruit and vegetable net bags as well as bubble wrap.
My forthcoming project deals with a different aspect of value enhancement;
using characters and narratives in order to boost the value perception
of everyday objects. Endowing an object with high value results in a longer
product life and therefore a more environmentally friendly object.
