Artist Statement

I have an immense interest in Graphic Design / Advertising and Branding, and how it can be applied universally, I believe in something new, something that has a connection with the past, something emotional, something true.


2D Image & Type: Direct Mail for Aquent (CD Cover & Back)

This was a project for 2d Image & Type, the brief was to design a direct mail shot for Aquent, exploring different mediums including existing logos and identity. The main content of the project was a CD which consisted of a 1.5 min Flash animation sequence promoting Aquent. The cover & back was designed as a postcard sleeve, consisting of information reflecting the Aquent brand.


2D Image & Type: Selfridges Gift Brochure Design

This brief for this project was to design a 6x A4 page layout including cover and back for a gift brochure with existing logos and identity for Selfridges, this project provided the opportunity explore existing values and develop it into something new. Photography, typography and colours were specifically created and developed for the project.

Marketing & Branding: An Emporio Armani Presentation

This project was for Marketing & Branding, the brief was to study a brand and present visually and verbally the strategies and techniques used for the purpose of marketing and branding, and to illustrate how the brand can be developed to further the identity. The project was interesting because it allowed different avenues of explorations, photography, typography and the use of colour to develop the billboard campaigns.

Book Cover Design: A new Era

To design a set of 3 book cover and back that represent the Spital fields Area within the last century, this particular cover and back was designed to reflect the turbulent history the area experienced during the early part of the 20th century and the recent history of migration to the area.
