Artist Statement:

This coat was part of a group collection based on Urban Tribes. The tribe that my coat focuses on is mass society. This led me onto the idea of globalization and loss of individuality. The numbers on the coat represent the loss of individuality, for we are all numbers within society. The asymmetric collar is higher on one side to hide some of the face, hence hiding distinguishable features.

The coat is shown on both a man and a woman, as the coat is androgynous. This is because numbers do not have a gender.

In most of the pictures, some of my fashion illustrations can be seen. They are quite large and are fairly fine art-like.
