Artist Statement:

Mirror Images:
This series of digitally manipulated photographs investigates the repetition and replication that is inherent to digital technology, and which is becoming increasingly prevalent in modern life. The originally film-based photographs are scanned and then manipulated with the Adobe Photoshop _Cloning Tool_ into abstract patterns where the whole becomes composed of a series of repeating elements. Resembling a fractal. there is both order and chaos to the images within the random patterns created through excessive repetition and mirroring.
