Artist Statement:

I am a student in as much as I am learning to “see” with my digital camera. It is not easy to translate into an image just what I feel when I am looking at a scene. I am attracted to scenes with gentle pathos – but it is not easy to avoid the clichéd image. I have dabbled with basic re-rendering of the image and I only stick with results that enhance the feel for me. I am a research technician at the University of Wales Swansea but I have a dream to publish my photographs – just to “speak” to others.
