Artist Statement:

I like to keep a handmade feel to my work but at the same time my computer is one of my most trusted tools. My illustrations combine the more traditional paint and collage techniques with the ultra clean technology of Photoshop and Illustrator. I love the stylish illustrations, album covers and adverts of the 40’s and 50’s. I also find great inspiration in contemporary culture including, cartoons, comics, music videos and the internet.
My images tend to reflect trend and lifestyle rather than focusing on gender or physical dimensions. The message in my work would be that fashion can be inspiring, vibrant and energetic. I am working as a freelance illustrator at the moment and would be happy to hear from anyone who is interested in my work.
