City Types:
City Types is a series of illustrative typographical pieces in response to typographical elements within a city environment. I wanted to achieve an urban, gritty feel with this project.

Gormenghast:
The Gormenghast illustrations are a personal responde to the characters within Mervyn Peakes novel. I wanted to acheive a sinister and dark feel to these pieces and a envoke a curiosity as this reflects the atmosphere created within the Gormenghast itself and the effect that it has upon its readers.

 

 

Artist Statement:
I have had some work experience in production for print whilst on a three month work placement for an international filter production company, producing magazine advertisements, exhibition artwork, price lists and customer information brochures.
