Artist Statement:
Laura Lenander was born in 1986 in St Albans where she still lives today.
She was married in 2004 to her husband Michael, a Quantity Surveyor; and her daughter, Katelyn was born in Febuary 2005.
Her work is generally based upon the traditional art theme of Mormento Mori. Some say her art just looks abstract but she would say it is much more than just an abstact painting, it is displaying the everyday thoughts and feelings of people which often are ignored.
