Statement:
I am interested in the interaction between the wearer and the jewellery. I have been focusing my research in natural and organic forms, with an emphasis on pure lines and simple shapes. I am trying to explore minimalism in aesthetics, functionalism in jewellery and its relationship to the wearer, Through my work I attempt to investigate the ‘secret bond’ between the jewellery and the wearer and the intimate importance they may have for each other.
I am using sterling silver, polymer clay, aluminium, paper pulp and glass to create clean organic shapes that ask to be handled and become a personal charm. All forms are combined with sterling silver (925°) to make neckpieces, rings, bracelets,, arm bangles, earrings, key rings, cufflinks, hairpins, brooches, pins etc.
The work displayed is in shades of purple, violet and lilac, my own favourite colour, but I welcome commissions in any other colour and specific preferences you may have in mind, as I strongly believe in individuality and personal taste.
