Artist Statement:
I am inspired
by time and memory and the idea of subconscious and conscious thought.
I work on varying scales to enhance the images, using both weave and print
in many of my pieces. The use of photography and text together, enable
me to record memories and capture moments in time. Integrating the idea
of weaving and the building of layers to portray this idea of time. I
specialise in silk screen printing on untreated stretched canvas for interiors.
Since gradutaing I have partaken in various exhibitions around Glasgow.
I have printed and constructed large-scale room divides for a new bar/restaurant/record
shop in Glasgow. At present im am working in my studio for an upcoming
exhibition in the Tron Theatre, Glasgow.
