Artist Statement:

'Sourcing material from life, photographs and moving pictures, my paintings become a collage of images fragmented and restructured to convey relationships suggested by recorded history & hearsay; the work is an exploration of light & memory, piecing together past & present to tell a story about the subject. Much of my recent work has focused on illustrating issues surrounding violations of human rights.'

I am currently working on a series of smaller canvasses exploring fragmented histories through relationships inspired by music & dance. An extension of the Spanish Albums, an earlier body of work.
