Artist Statement The works here can be read as poetic signposts or calling cards to conflicting and complementary realities where private, personal and pictorial spaces merge and disunite. flags for states of desire and uncertainty where meanings are cast aside, searched for, and provisionally entered into and where appearances are negotiated between the living room and the stage. They depict parlour room games and obscurites, obsessions, bad and good happiness, desire and domesticised inner drama. Photographs and paintings of people, places, marks and lines are scanned onto the computer. The image is then separated into individual colour channels which are worked upon independently before being re-assembled. The result
is a composite image which is unified, yet where each individual element
has been worked upon independantly. For sales, commissions and to send comments to the artist.
