Artist Statement:

I did most of these paintings in Paris where I lived until recently. Generally they started off as a moment seized in a small drawing. They reflect my interests in people and their relationship to others and to their environment. To best convey my response to what’s going on around me I aim to make a balance between the image and the materials it’s made from, between spontaneous expression and structure.

I studied painting at Brighton, Philadelphia and Manchester and have exhibited throughout England and had solo exhibitions in Manchester, London and Paris.

I strongly believe in affordable art and have priced them accordingly.
