Artist Statement My work explores visual narrative inspired by events, surroundings and collaborative experiences in space and time - juxtaposing actual spaces and illusionary spaces. A combination of fantasy and reality, presence and absence. A theatrical, preserved role-play often arises, creating a believable sense of place and an awareness of the cycle of time. I wanted to reverse the theory and remoteness of mathematical renaissance perspective and create an invitation, enforcing a stronger relationship between the work and audience, a sharing experience - a communicative desire..........................its death is the photograph.
