These photographs are from 3 different projects, the two Christmas images are from a project that analysed British taste in Christmas decorations, which became a comparison study between the UK and Norway, which I visited for this project. I like the idea that anything tacky, pointless or obviously disgusting can find beauty in the right context. The next sequence of images is from a series of model sets that i created to illustrate narrative, and in the case of this project, a dream, the images are playful and simplistic yet vivid like a dream. The final 3 images are from a summer project documenting the town of Runcorn. Alot of my work deals with challenging social perspectives, and cultural happenings, and uses a strict sense of form and composition.
