Artist Statement

"My work is a diaristic amalgamation of documentary, landscape, and portrait photography based on themes of geography, nostalgia, and home. Most recently I have been exploring the subject of 'quiet' as it applies to the natural environment, and also a state of being. For me, photography is not only a necessary way of living, but also a form of catharsis; my images are visual fragments of quiet gathered from everyday life."
