Artist Statement: As a self taught painter and experienced 3D designer I have a keen eye for detail and hold great score in the importance of drawing and form, as well as being fascinated by design within composition. I offer a lively and vibrant set of work that I use to seduce the onlooker through simplicity and realism. My subject matter is diverse, tailored to fit into modern interiors echoing current style trends. Having visited many countries I am inspired by their diversity and richness of culture. These experiences often influence my subject matter especially within representational pieces. I work mostly in acrylics often with a limited palette utilising crispness of line and sharp contrasts in colour, light and shade, incorporating pattern from repeated compositional elements. Specifically with my tropical seascapes I strive to achieve a sense of place and evoke a feeling of well being within the observer. I see collectors of my art as individuals who are confident in making a personal statement by choosing work that has a strong visual impact within the spaces they inhabit. Exhibitions: • Battersea
