Artist Statement

I worked for several years as a graphic designer before going to art college.
I presently work as a manager in a bookshop in Leeds. I enjoy collecting first edition modern fiction.

Through macro photography, I expose the 'uncanny'. Bringing to life a disturbing, beautiful and darkly humourous other life, to be found in everyday inanimate small toys and objects. I am influenced by director David Lynch and photographer Gregory Crewdson.
