Artist Statement:

My work highlights the richness of everyday life re-inventing reality.
We live in a hectic world where so much is taken for granted. Through photography and Video I have found an artistic language to bring to the foreground the intrinsic beauty of these daily moments. In my projects I have taken the richness of urban life and used seemingly random images, thus telling a story, giving them meaning.
I use sequential story telling a narrative.
My photographs are not digitally manipulated. By employing an imaginative use of components I have achieved a greater degree of naturalness and spontaneity with the camera alone than I previously thought possible. I have ended up with surreal images where a game is played between scale and subject; juxtaposition playfully explores the way in which we are daily exposed to the strangest combinations of visual images.
