Artist’s Statement

Appearances can be deceptive! The containers and vessels I produce are no exception. My work incorporates a playful element so when interacted with they reveal their true, functional identity. I use simplistic forms creating a mechanical elegance that embraces modernism. These pieces should not only reflect their contemporary surroundings, but shape them as well.
