Artist Statement:

My name is Tassos Pasalis and I am a freelance photographer from Greece. I studied photography in Plymouth, UK at the Plymouth College of Art and Design after I finished HND in Civil Engineering at the Plymouth University.

After I worked for a few years together with photographer Thodoros Papadopoulos at foto ikona studio I started working as a freelance photographer for various missions and projects. My last project was to study and photograph the hilltribes of northern Thailand for the Thai organization TEC (Tourism and Environmental Concern) during the period 13/1/03-8/7/03. An exhibition about is going to take place in Athens, Greece in cooperation with TAT (Tourism Authority of Thailand) opening in the beginning of next year.

As a creator I focus in making creative-abstract black and white images. I am interesting in an exhibition with those images. I have already taken part in two group exhibitions and a personal one, with those images, in Greece with great success but I am really interested in one in England where many of my images were taken. I still keep visiting London for various reasons.
