Artist
Statement:
Over the last year my work has been on a rather unusual journey. Constantly
switching between professional and college work I've been able to adapt
and apply my style to all sorts of areas within the art & design industry.
Storyboard artwork: On a months work experience at Eye Animation, I worked
on creating storyboards and character designs for animated tv commercials
such as Sure Deodorant.
Painting: Breakdancing has become the subject of my most recent paintings.
By abstracting form and colour I've tried to capture the essence of urban
dance and style.
Lightlife: This is one of five visuals I did for my final major project:
Lightlife, which explored the relationship between humans and light within
the confines of the urban environment.
Picamac: The brief for this project was to design a strip/uniform for
a group of people. I chose mushroom pickers!
Concept Art: This is part of a concept design/poster campaign I did for
a Hugo Boss D&AD brief to create an object/dispenser made predominantly
from steel.
