After studying painting at Falmouth College of Art and working at the Royal Photographic Society in the U.K., I am now a freelance photographer.
My main subject matter is the urbanscape at night. The images are created by shooting directly into artificial light.
I draw and paint with available light – sometimes using very long exposures, in order to create a sense of beauty, mood or movement in the everyday and unconsciously unseen.
I am fascinated by the results of pushing still-photography and film beyond its normal limits.
