Artist Statement:
I recently graduated from Gray's School of Art in Aberdeen, where I specialized
in knitted and printed textiles for sophisticated men's fashion. Inspiration
for the work was drawn from the conventional 9 to 5 office job which lead
to me creating a collection of 3-dimensional fabrics reminiscent of keyboards,
balanced with more simpler, graphic printed outcomes.
Although my main interest is men's fashion, I am currently selling work
to the interiors markets; mainly soft furnishings such as throws, cushions
and instillation pieces. I am also collaborating with furniture designers
on fresh design concepts. Any queries, commissions or purchases are greatlywelcomed.
