Statement:
Contemporary lighting is continuosly experimental in its use of materials.
I find more interesting to look at what is already there and try to apply
it in a different way. Objects of everyday use are given a new look or
purpose and possibly a longer life cycle. These products represent design
not in the expected form of stylishness and moothness but often with a
sense of humour which brings these objects closer audience. To me furniture
design is about designing an object to make tasks easier or more comfortable.
The aesthetics of the piece is also important so it can fully be appreciated,
even when not in use. I consider what people really need and how they
will really use it. My designs try to solve every day problems that occur
in today's way of life. Forms and shapes have always been my inspiration.
Simplicity of nature is a source of my inspiration
