Artist Statement:

My name is Ben Mosley and after studying crowd scenes for the last two years I decided to personalise my artwork and concentrated on depicitng incidents from football matches that I went to see. All my paintings are from observation and I try to portray the passion and the excitement that happens during a match, I have concentrated on incidents such as, Goals, players Celebrating, football tackles and teames huddled together before the match, I combine black printing ink with black and white acrylic paint to create powerful and dynamic images, this was influenced by a priniting module that I took at University. Since leaving University in the summer I have a had numerous exhibitions including the Manchester Art show, and my painings can be found in private collections throughout the country If you like my work you can contact me at my e-mail address rockymarceano@hotmail.com
