Artist Statement:
As long as I could remember I have always loved the idea of capturing a moment, an image a mood in a picture so I can go back and reflex on the thought or feeling at that time.

I started by taking photos from a very young age but the cost of developing and the price of film was beyond by pocket money would go. So I started drawing my pictures.

But I discovered from a very early age my drawings and paintings can go to places where my camera can not. I can plant my thoughts onto a canvas, twist the image, make it beautiful or ugly and to have full and complete control on the final image.

Every painting I hope will say a little about me and I still have a lot to say through my art.

Bilgin Anatolia Studied in Europe but now a London based artist. I paint a variety of subjects and ideas. My love for the British landscape always brings me back to this subject. I paint the human form in an impressionist style to try and capture the inner emotion. I use mainly oil on canvas, however I do also ink studies and watercolours. Created a small studio called Anatolia Fine Arts Studios, and a small team of dedicated work force gathered together with the aim of producing new modern paintings with all the quality of traditional oil on canvas.

Studied Fine Art in London and now a London, based painter. Bilgin Anatolia is a very private man with a passion for art. He has always painted even from a very young age.

Here is a very small sample of his fine work in this mix collection of landscape, expressionism and impressionism.

He and a small-dedicated workforce together display and promote his work by creating Anatolia Fine Art Studio. The Studio is still quite young and was created in 2002 and is growing fast with fresh and exciting new work.

Each painting has a history and a reason, however Bilgin will personally reply to anyone who wishes to understand more about the image they are viewing.

His love of the British countryside is painted often in a very traditional style.

However the contrasting styles and subject matter are often painted to express another tone or line of thought and to try and capture an emotion or mood.

The balance of trying to achieve an aesthetic work, pleasing to the eye and also powerful enough to relay something emotional to the viewer is quite a difficult thing to do within a frame.
