Artist Statement:
My main intrests are potraiture, macro work and natural structures. The human face is so complex and fasinating, I try to capture it in new lights, although Gottfried Helnwein is a big inspiration. I love macro as it allow me to explore those normally ignored places, a typewriter being the subject this time. Plants and flowers and so on never dissapoint if captured correctly.
I studied Media Production in Norwich and moved on to become a portrait photographer which I love doing. I have learnt a lot in the past four years but as I look at the work of others on this site I realise there is so much more to learn.
