Artist Statement:

I am a recent graduate from Cordwainers at the London College of Fashion. I am now looking for work in the fashion industry and my ideal job would be working as an accessories designer in a respected and reputable company. I plan to work in the industry for a few years to gain the experience needed to go on to start up my own accessories company. The range of bags I have decided to show is called Space Raiders. My influences and inspiration was all from space travel and space ships. I looked into toy, tin space ships, comics and cartoon space ships, as well as looking at the real NASA space ships. I wanted to creat a very futuristic style that could be worn casually with a pair of jeans or more formally with a shiney evening dress. I also wanted to create a range of bags that went together like a family of russian dolls. They fit inside one and other for convinient storage.
