I have recently
graduated with an honours degree in Fine Art from the Arts Institute in
Bournemouth and The North Oxfordshire School of Art. I am currently producing
work from my home-based studio to suit commissions for both private and
public spaces. In addition to this I have taken commissions for life drawing
pieces as well as having taught at the Bicester Arts Centre.
I am currently working as Curator of Contemporary Painting for the Red
Gallery in Thame, where I am also displaying my new work.
I have exhibited work displaying at numerous exhibitions in London, Banbury,
Henley, Bournemouth, Stow-on-the-Wold, South Olney, Thame and Marlow.
My practice specialises in painting and drawing. My most recent paintings
are very much autobiographical and spiritually expressive. I enjoy painting
the human figure combined with the sensuality of abstract form and colour.
I believe a true artist communicates his or her feelings with skill, instinct
and knowledge to produce a work of art. The process is finally complete
when someone approaches the artwork and experiences a similar emotion
as that of the artist.
