Statement

The foundation of my work primarily lies within a sense of colour integration and textures. My work encapsulates a raw, spontaneous and energetic aspect, simultaneously taking into consideration the reactivity of the various medium which I combine thus altering the appearance of the piece without my physical presence needed to govern it. The print is transformed repeatedly, responding to the colours and pictorial aesthetic within the piece. The final print may not be entirely comparable to the initial study, but will withhold a textural, spontaneity based essence, which will still incorporate the undertones from the initial subject matter.

Mostly my prints derive from the Collagraph process, this is due to the sheer intensity of varying depth, textures, and tactile organic surfaces that are achievable with it.
I have recently completed a BA (hons) in Fine Art at Grays School of Art, and have been accepted upon an MA Printmaking at Camberwell College of Arts.
