Artists Statement:
I have recently graduated from the Royal College of Art. The work shown
relates to girlhood, where girls are caught between the carefree innocence
of childhood, and the onset of an awkward adolescence. It is a secretive,
hierarchical world, in which these girls compete for attention and acceptance
from one another...'Little girls are cute and small only to adults. To
one another they are not cute, they are life-sized'. Margaret Atwood
I am now pursuing freelance illustration. Whilst I am interested in all
areas of illustration, I would particularly like to work creating adult
book covers.
