Artist Statement:
This collection was influenced by orientalist art of middle-eastern folklore
and iconography from the land of the rising sun. A theatrical butterfly,
arab illusions, coins, beading and embroidery that amplifies a fantasy
of Arabian nights.
Courses taken: Womens wear, tailoring, evening wear, pattern making, draping,
history of fashion, trend forecasting, visual merchandising, fashion sketching,
millinery, fashion marketing.
