Artist Statement:

Until August 2003 I followed a career path in science (educated to BSc Hons in Chemistry). This did not fulfil my creative needs therefore I decided to change direction and become a professional sculptor. Creation & innovation have been my life long passions and this is expressed strongly in my unique metal sculpture. As a keen cyclist it made sense to me to create my work from discarded bicycles by reinterpreting their parts into new unexpected forms. I now sell through a range of art galleries and produce works for private commissions, both indoor & outdoor.
