Artist
Statement:
I am a relatively new artist, having only been seriously painting for
the last year or two. Due to lack of working space, I generally work in
acrylics on canvas or board. The approximate sizes of the works can be
found in millimetres at the end of image files.
Some of the attached works are already owned, but I am happy to accept
queries about commissions for new projects and more particularly about
exhibitions, as I have never exhibited before.
"Iconoclasm", "Dependence on Mother", "Dear John",
"Thirteenth May 2004" and "Confidence and Paranoia Part
One" are part of an ongoing group of works tentatively named "Objects
in Space", looking at physical and emotional interaction.
"Two-Faced Bastard" was an earlier work which was just an enormous
amount of fun to do. "Sign" is the first in what I plan to be
a series of figurative works.
