I am currently in the second year of a BA Hons in Graphic Design at Middlesex
university. I have also completed a HND course in graphic design last
year at Southwark college, but I felt I should finish my studying off
with a degree because I wish to learn new skills and develop the skills
I already have.
I try and put a bit of humour into my work if possible and I get inspiration
from looking at anything with some sort of humour involved. At the moment
I am looking for a work placement for the summer in Graphic design.
Sometimes I do stencil jobs for the council and recently they used my
work as part of an event to raise awareness of teenage parents. I also
did some stencils which were used on a cd rom which dealt with the issues
of, teenage pregnancy, relationships and sex education.
Graffiti stencilist Banksy is one of the people who inspired me to try
out and learn stencilling. You can see Banksy's stencil graffiti work
all around the world on street walls, floors, almost anything even on
the sides of cows. His stencils are very political, but they always have
some sort of humour to them. I think these two aspects are important in
Middlesex university : BA Hons in Graphic Design
sales, commissions and to send comments to the artist.
